Privacy Policy — GPhotos Sweeper

GPhotos Sweeper ("the extension") is a browser extension that helps you bulk-delete your own photos, videos, albums, and trash on Google Photos. Your privacy is fundamental to how it is built.

1. Data we collect

None. The extension does not collect, store on any server, sell, share, or transmit any personal data, photos, account information, or browsing activity. There are no analytics, trackers, or external servers of any kind.

2. Where your settings are stored

Your preferences (filters and speed settings) and lifetime deletion counts are saved locally on your own device using the browser's chrome.storage.local API. This data never leaves your computer and is removed if you uninstall the extension.

3. How the extension works

All actions happen locally in your browser on photos.google.com. The extension automates the same select, delete, empty-trash, and restore clicks you could perform by hand. It does not read or transmit the contents of your photos.

4. Permissions

• storage — save your settings and counts locally.
• tabs — find the active Google Photos tab and open the right page for an action.
• notifications — alert you when a long run finishes.
• host access to photos.google.com — the extension only runs on Google Photos.

5. Third parties

The extension does not use any third-party services and does not send data to anyone.

6. Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new date.
