📋 What This Extension Does

WhatsApp CRM Pro is a browser extension that enhances WhatsApp Web by adding a customer relationship management (CRM) panel. It allows you to track contacts, add notes, set follow-up reminders, log payments, and use AI to draft messages — all without leaving WhatsApp Web.

💾 Data We Store

The following data is saved locally on your device only, using your browser's chrome.storage.local API:

• Customer names, phone numbers, email addresses, and business names you enter
• Notes you write about contacts
• Payment amounts and records you log
• Follow-up reminder dates, times, and messages
• Pipeline status and tags you assign to contacts
• Message templates you create or save
• Your extension settings (currency, AI provider preference)

None of this data ever leaves your device. It is not sent to us or any third party.

🤖 AI Features (Optional)

If you choose to use AI features, the extension sends a short text prompt to the AI provider you select (such as OpenRouter, Groq, Google Gemini, OpenAI, or Anthropic). This prompt includes basic customer context (e.g. name, status, deal value) that you have already entered.

• AI features are entirely optional. The extension works fully without them.
• Prompts are sent directly from your browser to the AI provider using your own API key.
• We do not receive, log, or store any AI prompts or responses.
• Please review the privacy policy of your chosen AI provider for how they handle prompts.

🔔 Permissions Used

• storage — To save your CRM data locally on your device.
• alarms — To fire follow-up reminder notifications at the time you schedule.
• notifications — To display reminder alerts with action buttons.
• Host access to WhatsApp Web — To inject the CRM panel into the WhatsApp Web interface.
• Host access to AI provider APIs — Only contacted when you actively use an AI feature.

🚫 What We Do NOT Do

• We do not collect, transmit, or store any user data on our servers.
• We do not read, record, or share the content of your WhatsApp messages.
• We do not sell, rent, or share any data with third parties.
• We do not use any analytics or tracking tools.
• We do not require account registration of any kind.

👶 Children's Privacy

This extension is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.
